I built my PC about a year ago, and now I'm considering upgrading my GPU. My current setup includes an i5 14400f, 32GB of DDR5 RAM, and I'm using an RTX 4060 with 8GB of memory. I have a 650W power supply and a 1080p monitor that I upscale to 1440p using NVIDIA's DLSS. What would be the best economical GPU upgrade for future-proofing my gaming experience?

Considering your build, you'll want something that gives at least a 50% performance boost from your current 4060. The RX 9060 seems promising; just make sure to stick with the newer cards, especially if features like DLSS and FSR are important to you! The 5090 is definitely the way to go, if you're looking for something really powerful! Just keep in mind it might be a bit out of budget.
You might want to look at the 5060 Ti (only the 16GB model), the 5070 or 5070 Ti, and the RX 9060 XT (also 16GB). These options would give you a nice boost in performance. Just keep in mind that some of the higher-end cards might require you to upgrade your power supply too!
What do you think about the 7800 XT with 16GB? Would that be a good choice?
I was wondering if the 5070 with 12GB of VRAM is a solid long-term investment?

Thanks for the tip! I'm leaning toward the RX 9060. How does it compare to NVIDIA cards in terms of gaming power?
