I'm experiencing extremely slow Wi-Fi speeds on my HP laptop, sometimes dropping below 1 Mbps. This issue only occurs on my home network with Comcast, while my connection works perfectly fine elsewhere, like at school or through my cellphone hotspot. I'm currently connected to my home 5GHz band, and after checking with Comcast, everything seems fine on their end. When I test my phone's Wi-Fi using airplane mode, it shows normal speeds. I would really appreciate any suggestions to resolve this issue!

Have you tried updating your Wi-Fi drivers? That can often resolve connectivity issues like this.
You might want to check your home router settings. Sometimes adjusting the channel or other configurations can help boost speeds. Is your router fairly new?
Make sure you back up your data before making any major changes to your system settings or BIOS. Just to be safe!

It's not too old—just about 4 years old and came straight from Comcast.
