I'm planning to upgrade my CPU and GPU and I'm looking for some advice. I've been using my current components since May 2020, and here's what I've got:

- **CPU**: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X
- **Motherboard**: ASRock B450M-HDV R4.0
- **Graphics Card**: Asus DUAL EVO OC V2 GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER
- **RAM**: 32 GB DDR4-3200
- **Storage**: 1 TB Samsung SSD and 2 TB Silicon Power SSDs

My budget for a new GPU is between $800 and $900, while I'm a bit more flexible with the CPU. I plan to buy these components around June. Also, I own a Valve Index VR headset, so compatibility for that is a consideration.

If you can find it, I’d suggest going for a 5700 or 5800X3D as they are solid upgrades. Pairing that with a 9070XT would fit right into your budget and should give you a huge performance boost! Just make sure your current setup can handle an AMD GPU if you're switching from Nvidia; sometimes drivers can be a hassle.

Are there any compatibility issues I should keep in mind when switching from an Nvidia GPU to an AMD one?

It might not be the best idea to choose parts right now since the market is quite volatile. If you're purchasing in June, prices could shift drastically due to trends in AI and memory markets. For now, consider the AMD 5800XT or 5900XT for your GPU, but keep an eye on RAM prices as they may affect your motherboard choice and upgrade options closer to your purchase date.

Thanks for the insights, I'll definitely watch for price changes!
