I'm looking to upgrade my current gaming setup, which consists of an Intel i7-8700K and a GTX 1080 Ti. I'm planning to reuse my RAM and SSD, specifically a CORSAIR Vengeance LPX 32GB DDR4 kit and a 1TB Samsung 970 Evo Plus SSD. Since I've recently upgraded to a 1440p monitor, I think it's finally time for a refresh. My main interest is gaming, and I would love to have a graphics card capable of ray tracing. I'm aiming to keep the total cost under $1500 and I'm considering getting another 1TB SSD, plus I have my eye on either the Lian Li Vector V100R or V100R Mini case. Any recommendations for the new build would be greatly appreciated!

Here's a build list that might suit your needs: [PCPartPicker Link](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/vGZNQy). Check it out and see what you think!
The market's a bit rough right now for parts. I’d recommend sticking with DDR4, and you could consider swapping to an AMD Ryzen 5500X3D or maybe one of the newer Intel i5 or i7 options. Just keep an eye on prices!
For your upgrade, I suggest going with an Intel Core i5-14600K and a GeForce RTX 5070. With this setup, you'd be right around $1360, including the second 1TB SSD and the V100R Mini case. If you want to go for a bit more power, you could look into the RTX 5070 Ti, but that would push it to about $1700. This build will definitely handle ray tracing well!
Have you checked if there's a Micro Center nearby? They usually have some great deals in-store!

Unfortunately, the closest Micro Center is about 5 hours away from me.
