I'm putting together a new PC with some awesome components: an AMD Ryzen 5 7500X3D processor, MSI GeForce RTX 5070 graphics card, and 32GB of DDR5 RAM, among others. Since I'm not super experienced with building computers, I want to know if I can add my old SSD (Kingston SUV400S37240G) and HDD (ST1000DM010-2EP102) to this new system for extra storage. Is that possible, and if so, what should I keep in mind during the setup?

Yes, you can definitely add your old SSD and HDD into your new setup! Just a heads up: it's usually best to do a fresh installation of your operating system. This way, you avoid any leftover driver issues from your old system. If you're planning to use these drives primarily for storage, make sure your new SSD (Crucial P310) is set as your main OS drive. The others can just be additional storage without much hassle.
Just remember that Windows might sometimes get quirky, even if the boot order is correctly set. I once had a similar setup and it booted from an old drive because I forgot that it had Windows on it.
Absolutely, you can use your SSD and HDD! Just a little note: if you’re using Windows 11, make sure you have your Microsoft login info handy. It might ask for a code from BitLocker to confirm that you're not using a stolen OS drive after installation.

Thanks for the tips! I appreciate it.
