I'm currently running an Asrock B550M Pro4 motherboard with a Ryzen 5600 CPU, 32GB of Klevv 3600MHz RAM, and an RX 6600XT graphics card. I mostly game at 1080p, but I'm planning to upgrade my setup for 1440p gaming. I've got my eye on the 9070XT for the graphics card, but I'm unsure about upgrading my CPU. I want to make the most out of my AM4 platform and don't plan on moving to AM5 anytime soon; I'd rather save for AM6. Which CPU would be the better upgrade for my performance—should I go for the 5800X or the 5800XT? Both are priced between $200-$250, but I'm also interested in the X3D variants, although they're about $410. What do you all think?

If you can’t find a 5700X3D at a reasonable price, stick with the plan to upgrade to the 9070XT first. The benefits of upgrading to a 5800X or XT aren’t really worth the investment considering you already have a solid base with the 5600. Going for the 9070XT will likely provide a more noticeable performance increase for your games at 1440p.
Honestly, you're better off just grabbing the 9070XT and maybe waiting for AM5 or AM6 further down the line. The 5800X is a decent CPU, but if you're already on Zen3, upgrading to another AM4 CPU won’t yield the results you might expect at higher resolutions.
