Looking for Advice on Building a Small Form Factor PC

Hey everyone, I'm looking for some guidance on building a small form factor PC. I've been using a Metabox N550RC laptop for about two years, but with the end of support for Windows 10, I'm thinking it might be time for an upgrade. I need something portable, as my work takes me to different locations for extended periods. Ideally, I want a setup that can run Windows 11 and handle gaming at medium graphics while maintaining around 30 fps. My budget is around $500-$600 AUD, but I'm open to going a bit over if necessary. If this seems unrealistic, please let me know, as my current laptop isn't terrible but it's frustrating dealing with lag and the lack of support.

I agree with the first suggestion—going for a used system might be your best bet. With your budget, it's pretty tough to build anything new from scratch these days.

I recommend checking out used PCs. Look for something with a 12th gen Intel or AMD Ryzen 5000 series CPU. Those are generally well-supported and easy to find.
