I've been having a weird issue lately where all my photos and my parents' photos are showing up on each other's iPhones. This started after my dad got a new phone, which happened because my brother accidentally threw his old one out the window. Now, whenever my dad takes a picture, it appears on my phone, and all of my pictures are on his device too. The same thing started happening with my mom's phone as well. Each of us can see each other's photos, and I really want to know how to stop this from happening. Also, I need to figure out how to remove my parents' pictures from my phone without actually deleting them from their phones since that would erase them from all devices. Any advice would be super helpful!

If you find out you are sharing an Apple ID, you should consider creating separate accounts. That way, the photos won’t sync across devices anymore. It’s really important for personal privacy too!
This is likely due to the iCloud Shared Photo Library feature. You can disable it on your devices. Check your settings and look for iCloud, then go to Photos and manage the shared library settings. Here’s a link for more help: https://support.apple.com/en-us/118229
It sounds like you all might be sharing the same Apple ID, which would cause that cross-sharing of photos. If that’s the case, consider setting up individual Apple IDs for each of you. This way, your photos won’t mix together anymore. Just make sure to set up Family Sharing if you want to share certain features without sharing all your photos.
Yeah, definitely check the Apple ID settings. If it’s all linked together, that’s why it’s happening!

Yes, turning that off should solve the issue! Let me know if it works.
