Looking for Help in Choosing PC Parts for Game Development

Hey everyone! I'm a software developer considering building a home PC specifically for game development projects unrelated to work. My main focus will be on using Unreal Engine or Unity for development, and I'll also be utilizing Blender for 3D designs and animations. I'm quite intensive when it comes to graphic rendering since I'm working on AAA titles. My budget is around $1700-$1800, and I'm located in the U.S. Any advice on parts or setups would be really appreciated!

Do you have a MicroCenter nearby? It can make a difference for both parts availability and pricing. Also, what kind of aesthetic are you thinking for your build? Do you want RGB lighting, or are you leaning towards a cleaner look?

Unfortunately, I don't have access to a MicroCenter. I’m open to RGB if it adds significant performance, but I'm not set on it!

If RGB isn't a deal breaker, I’d say go for it—looks great and can be fun to customize!

Make sure to look up benchmarks; the RTX 5070 Ti is great for game development and will give you solid performance with rendering.

That's a great build! Just remember to check each component's compatibility and maybe consider future upgrade paths!
