I'm thinking about upgrading my GPU and would love to get a second opinion on my current setup before I make the purchase. I'm planning to upgrade to an Asus PRIME OC GeForce RTX 5070 and want to ensure everything else is compatible and optimized for performance. Here's my setup for reference:
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X 3.8 GHz 8-Core Processor
- CPU Cooler: Corsair H60 (2018) Liquid CPU Cooler
- Motherboard: MSI MPG X570 GAMING PLUS ATX AM4
- RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws V 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200
- Storage: HP EX920 1 TB NVME SSD, Samsung 970 Evo Plus 2 TB NVME SSD, Seagate BarraCuda 2 TB HDD
- Case: Fractal Design Meshify C ATX Mid Tower
- Power Supply: EVGA 600 BQ 600 W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-modular
- Monitor: Asus VG248QE 24.0" 144 Hz
The total comes to around $1479.89. Looking forward to your feedback!

If you're primarily gaming, I’d suggest considering the RX 9070 instead of the RTX 5070. It might be a better bang for your buck. Just something to think about!
