I'm reaching out to anyone who has built a successful career in software development. I'm curious about your daily work habits—how many hours do you typically put in each day? I want to know how you navigated your journey, the challenges you faced, and the advice you would give to newcomers, especially those like me who are aspiring to become iOS developers. Any insights would be greatly appreciated!

Consider starting an open-source project on the weekends to hone your skills and explore in-demand technologies. Personally, I found my footing after 20 years of constant learning and development. The more unique knowledge you have, the more valuable you become, but it requires significant personal investment and perseverance. It’s incredibly rewarding when you succeed, though!
A key piece of advice is to take ownership of your learning. This question has been asked many times, so doing your own research is crucial. Remember, you won't truly grow as a software developer until you learn to learn independently. Don't get caught up in bad advice that lacks understanding of the fundamentals.

Thanks for that robot-like response! Or are you just non-communicative? If so, just say it.
I started as a designer aiming to launch a startup and learned coding by working on a real product. I quickly had to become proficient since my team scaled rapidly to $1M MRR. For me, working more than 5-6 hours a day isn't effective—my brain just can't deliver quality work after that. I've experienced burnout after intense periods, so I'd advise you to learn through actual projects rather than tutorials, and always take time to reflect on your progress.
Thank you for your comment, it was very helpful for me.
