Hey everyone! I recently bought a 4070 Super graphics card, and I discovered that the CPU can affect framerates too. Right now, I'm using a Ryzen 5500, which I've learned might be holding me back. I'm looking for the most budget-friendly AMD CPU that can keep up with my GPU without breaking the bank. Also, I'm currently on DDR4 with 16GB of RAM, and I'm planning to get another 16GB once I settle on the right CPU. Any recommendations?

The Ryzen 5 5600 is a great choice for gaming, or if you want something a bit more robust, check out the 5700X. It's worth it if you're looking for smoother gameplay!
You should definitely consider upgrading to a Ryzen 5000 X3D series CPU, like the Ryzen 7 5700 X3D or 5800 X3D, or even the Ryzen 5 5600 X3D. These will better match your 4070 Super. If those are too pricey for you, the Ryzen 7 5800X is a solid alternative. Just a heads up, the Ryzen 5500 might bottleneck your 4070 Super in certain games.

They all don't seem to have significantly higher clock speeds than my current CPU. What's making them a better choice?
