Advice Needed for AWS SES Production Decline

Hey everyone, I'm new to using AWS and could really use some help. I'm setting up SES (Simple Email Service) for a client to send out email newsletters. The client has collected all emails with proper consent following GDPR guidelines, either directly from clients or through their website sign-ups. They have a long-standing reputation in the adult education sector and typically send around 1,000 to 3,000 emails each week. However, I'm facing issues with their SES production status. Any tips or insights on what might be causing the decline? Thanks in advance!

It sounds like you may want to explore alternatives to SES. Many users have found it challenging to get out of the SES sandbox, and the approval process can be inconsistent. AWS is really strict about bounce and complaint rates, and they want clear evidence of opt-ins and a robust automated system to manage these issues. Your client might need to enhance their records on consent to improve their chances.

I see your point, but my client mostly deals with traditional businesses, so proving consent could be tricky. Everything is still on paper, and unless we send scans of those documents, I'm not sure we can satisfy AWS's requirements.
