How Can I Delete Photos from My SD Card Using a Mac?

Hey everyone! I'm trying to clean up my SD card by deleting some photos. I have an adapter to connect it to my MacBook, but when I attempt to drag the photos to the trash bin, nothing happens. I even tried using Disk Utility to wipe the SD card, but that didn't work either. Is there an easier way to delete the photos without having to do it directly from the camera? Thanks for any help!

Check if your SD card has a physical lock switch on the side. If it’s locked, your Mac won’t let you delete files. Just slide it to the unlock position and try again!

The best practice is to format the SD card directly in your camera after transferring the photos to your computer. This cleans the card and gets it ready for the next use. But also watch for that lock switch, it can be annoying!

That seemed to be the problem, thank you!
