Hey everyone! I just relocated to Japan and I'm looking to assemble a brand new PC. Since I primarily use Linux, it needs to be a full AMD setup. I came across some great builds at local stores, but they all seem to be Nvidia-based, which isn't what I need.
Space is a concern for me as my apartment is quite small, so I'd appreciate suggestions for compact builds. My budget is around 300,000 yen. I want to ensure it can handle resource-heavy, poorly optimized games like Oblivion Remastered, plus it should have WiFi support—though I'm not entirely sure how crucial that is! Thanks in advance for your help!

Parts can be on the pricier side in Japan, especially when you're looking to stay under 300,000 yen. If you're in Tokyo, definitely check out Ark in Akihabara or Tsukumo EX. They have a wide array of components to choose from.
For a compact build, you should aim for a Small Form Factor (SFF) system, ideally under 20 liters. I recommend considering the Fractal Design Ridge case, which is about 12 liters and allows for vertical or horizontal placement. It can fit various 9070XT models alongside a 70mm CPU cooler, perfect for the 9800X3D. In terms of WiFi, I can't recall seeing any ITX motherboards lacking built-in WiFi unless they're the really basic models.
You should definitely be able to get an AMD 9070 or 9070XT within your budget. When you say 'full AMD,' do you mean no Intel CPUs? The CPU choice mainly affects upgradability, but if you’re set on AMD, consider the 7500F, 7700, or even the 7800X3D based on your remaining budget. If you’re open to it, checking out AliExpress might save you some cash since import taxes aren't huge here. Also, creating a build list on PCPartPicker could help us suggest better alternatives with respective prices.
