Hey everyone, I could really use some advice here. I bought a thermal paste called Upsiren LMTG-100 from AliExpress, and I've run into a bit of a problem. When I first squeezed some out, I noticed visible drops of liquid metal in it. I'm concerned because this thermal paste is supposed to be non-conductive since the liquid metal is contained in microcapsules. After waiting a day and trying it again, the paste looked a bit better, but there were still some traces of liquid metal. The last bit I squeezed out appeared normal. I'm not sure if this issue is due to quality control or the shipping process. I want to use it for a couple of gaming laptops and other systems, but I'm worried about safety. I spent $14.45 on it and have already used a small amount. I would love to hear your thoughts, especially since I translated this post to get my point across better! Thanks!

Buying computer parts from AliExpress is always a gamble. You can sometimes find good deals, but you also have to be prepared for poor quality items sometimes. It might be worth it to stick to reputable brands in the future.
That liquid metal aspect sounds a bit sketchy. If those capsules are supposed to contain the metal, then you have to wonder if they'll actually do their job effectively. Maybe there's something off about the batch. I wouldn't take any chances, to be honest. It's safer to use a well-known product instead of risking damage to your systems.
Honestly, it sounds like you might have gotten what you paid for. It's not surprising coming from AliExpress. If you're concerned about the quality, I'd recommend just getting a reliable brand of thermal paste from a local shop instead. Better safe than sorry, right?
It can indeed be tricky! This type of thermal paste is designed to be safer, but you still need to treat it with caution since it contains liquid metal. It's possible some capsules might have burst in transit, which is concerning. If you're looking for something better than regular paste but less risky than liquid metal, I’d suggest checking out Patec Thermal Material instead!
