I'm on the hunt for a good GPU, mainly the RTX 5070 Ti or the 5080, with a budget around €1000-1200 for the 5070 Ti and €1300-1500 for the 5080. I came across the Zotac RTX 5080 AMP Infinity listed for €1288 on galaxus.at, a site I'm not familiar with. I'd appreciate any insights or experiences from current owners about this card, especially since Zotac isn't a brand I'm used to. I'm currently searching from Austria, so any help would be great!

The Zotac brand is considered a bit lower tier compared to others, but it's still a solid 5080. If you can snag it at a good price, I’d say go for it. It actually outperforms the Founders Edition of the 5080 and competes well with the Asus TUF in some benchmarks while offering potential for overclocking. Double-check reviews to make sure it fits your needs!
I’ve been using the Zotac RTX 5080 AMP for a few days, and so far, it’s been great! I was a bit hesitant about trying Zotac since I typically stick with brands like Gigabyte, Asus, or MSI. However, I’ve read that many users are satisfied with their Zotac cards. I previously had a Gigabyte RTX 3080 that lasted four years without issues, but I've noticed opinions on Gigabyte are mixed lately. Overall, experiences vary, but just enjoy what you have, and don't stress too much. Just a heads up, though, the Zotac software isn't great! 😂
Honestly, I'd lean towards the 5070 Ti for better value. If there’s a game that the 5070 Ti struggles with, the 5080 won’t handle it any better, especially since DLSS can only do so much when it comes to raw performance.
I was considering the 5070 Ti too, but I've seen mixed reviews about the Asus TUF and MSI Gaming Trio. Maybe I'll just go with the 5070 Ti and hope for a future 5080 Super with 24GB!
The 5080 is generally a decent choice, especially since it functions similarly to a 4090 when using DLSS. But keep in mind, comparing raw performance based on upscaling can be misleading.
That’s interesting! But if the 4090 just outclasses it in raw performance, is the 5080 really worth it?
I hear you! But what about the Zotac AMP Infinity specifically? For this price, it sounds like a promising option.
Yeah, seeing it for under €1300 is a good deal compared to the lowest prices around €1500 for similar cards.
