My PC Won’t Boot – Solid Orange Light, Need Help!

I've been facing an issue with my PC where it's showing a solid orange light and won't boot up. I've tried a bunch of troubleshooting steps but nothing seems to work. Here's what I've done so far:

- Reseated the RAM and tested it in different slots.
- Replaced the RAM twice.
- Checked and secured all cables.
- Cleaned the PC thoroughly.
- Replaced the motherboard.
- Got a new power supply unit (PSU) and new cables.
- Verified that the CPU pins aren't bent.
- Reset the BIOS and replaced the motherboard battery.
- Confirmed the RAM is seated properly in the new motherboard.
- Even plugged it into a different outlet.

I'm completely stuck and would appreciate any suggestions or advice!

You might want to check your manufacturer's documentation to see what the solid orange light indicates. It could be pointing to a DRAM issue, which I initially suspected when I ran into a similar problem. Good luck!

Ah, I thought the orange light would be a RAM or motherboard problem, but I've already replaced those. Guess I need to dive deeper!

Try booting with different RAM configurations. Experiment with one stick at a time, or change the positions of your sticks. This might help you escape the orange light and pinpoint another issue. Also, double-check your manual for the possible causes. Good luck!

I’ve tried various configurations like one stick, two in different slots, and even replaced the RAM but no change – still the same orange light.

Sometimes a bad CPU connection at the pins can cause a RAM light to show up. If your CPU isn’t seating properly, it might not read the RAM correctly. Have you checked that?

I’ve been worried that it might be the CPU. What should I do if that's the case?

Yeah, definitely check that out!
