Hey everyone! I'm in a bit of a tight spot and could really use some advice. I've got around $40,000 worth of Azure startup credits that are set to expire in about 90 days, and unfortunately, extensions are no longer an option. I've already launched an AI video SaaS that's doing okay with roughly 2,000 users, but conversion rates to paying customers are quite low. The thing is, we're not using the credits quickly enough, and I'm worried about wasting this opportunity. I'm currently adding features, but growth alone won't eat through all those credits before they vanish. I'm looking for smart ways to leverage these credits for profit before they're gone. Maybe creating a cheap AI API or small paid tools? I'm open to any ideas. What would you do in my situation? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

If you’re looking to burn through those credits, consider enabling Azure's log analytics or purview. I made that mistake once, and let me tell you, it consumed credits real fast! Just a few days of usage can really pile up.
Honestly, if you can't find a valuable way to use the credits, don’t sweat it. It might be better to let them go rather than create unnecessary expenses or obligations once they expire. Consider what your costs would be like supporting those users without any credits.
One option is to create a significant library of short-form content that different niches can purchase as templates. This way, you can turn those credits into valuable assets that will last beyond the 90 days! You might find quite a bit of demand for ready-made content.
Interesting! I’ll definitely explore that idea.
Have you looked into Azure Marketplace? Your credits might work there, which could widen the scope of what you can do. Many SaaS solutions bill through it, so that’s definitely worth checking out.
Depending on your goals, it could be worthwhile to reserve some services or Azure OpenAI capacity with those credits. That way, you aren't just spending them on temporary usage but actually securing resources that will be useful after the credits run out.

Haha, I inadvertently turned it on too and it drained my credits quickly!
