I'm building a computer for my brother using some spare parts, and I'd love to get your thoughts on whether I should upgrade the GPU or stick with what I have. He mainly plays Minecraft, mostly in vanilla mode with maybe a few light mods, and he isn't a hardcore gamer. However, I want him to experience solid performance, especially for some Adobe software he might use. Here are my current specs:
- CPU: Ryzen 7 3700X
- GPU: RX 570
- Motherboard: MSI b450
- RAM: Corsair 32GB DDR4
- AIO Cooler: Corsair (not sure of the model)
Is it worth it to upgrade the GPU for this setup?

If the RX 570 is working fine for your brother's needs, build the PC and check if it's enough for him. You can always upgrade the GPU later if it doesn’t meet expectations. It's a good approach to see how well the existing GPU performs first!
Don't forget to check your PSU rating; that can limit your GPU options. I had a 3700X with a 3080Ti, and honestly, the CPU held it back quite a bit. Make sure your power supply is up to the task!
I've got a 750W PSU, so I should be good there! That's funny; I actually upgraded my GPU to a 3080Ti while still on the 3700X before switching it out.

Totally agree! I had a similar setup and upgraded over time. The RX 570 is decent; you might be surprised how well it performs in those scenarios.
