I'm having trouble connecting my desktop to the internet, even though all my other devices on the network are working fine. The troubleshooter keeps saying that my computer seems to be correctly configured, but it can't reach the resource (www.microsoft.com). I've followed some troubleshooting steps, but they didn't resolve the issue. I ran several commands in the Command Prompt, including "ipconfig /flushdns," "ipconfig /registerdns," and reset the winsock, but I'm still stuck. I don't use a VPN, which I found can also cause connection issues. Any tips to get my desktop online?

What operating system are you running? Is it Windows 10 or 11? And are you connecting via Wi-Fi or Ethernet? Make sure all cables are securely connected. If you’re using Wi-Fi, can you switch to a wired connection to see if that changes anything? It might help narrow down the issue.
Try manually changing your DNS settings to 8.8.8.8. Sometimes, this can jumpstart your connection. If that doesn’t work, go into Device Manager, delete all networking devices, restart your desktop, and let Windows reinstall the drivers. This could really help resolve any driver issues.
