Why won’t Chrome load any websites on my laptop?

Hi everyone! I'm having a really frustrating issue with Google Chrome on my Windows 11 laptop—it hasn't worked for about 3 months now. Chrome opens up just fine, but no websites will load; the loading spinner just keeps spinning forever. I'm not seeing any specific error messages like 'ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT' or 'ERR_PROXY_CONNECTION_FAILED'. The weird part is that other browsers like Microsoft Edge and Firefox are working perfectly fine on the same laptop and network. Chrome also runs without issues on my other devices using the same Wi-Fi network. I've done quite a bit of troubleshooting so far, including uninstalling and reinstalling Chrome several times, using the Chrome offline installer, and deleting all Chrome-related folders, but nothing seems to fix the problem. I hope someone here can help!

Have you considered running Chrome in compatibility mode? It’s really simple to do! Just right-click the Chrome icon, go to 'Properties', then select the 'Compatibility' tab. Choose 'Run this program in compatibility mode for' and try setting it to Windows 7. It could work out for you!

You might want to try using Revo Uninstaller to ensure all leftover registry files are cleared out. Sometimes, the regular uninstall doesn't remove everything and can cause issues. Also, check your firewall settings to make sure Chrome isn't being blocked. By the way, do incognito windows work for you?
