Is Pop OS a Better Choice than Linux Mint for Nvidia GPUs?

Hey everyone! I'm transitioning from Windows to Linux and trying to figure out which distribution to use. My main focus is on privacy and avoiding Windows' bloat and forced AI features. I use my laptop mainly for web browsing, gaming, and media playback, but I plan to get into video and audio editing soon. I like the stability and familiar interface of Linux Mint, but I've heard that Pop OS might be better suited for my GeForce 4050 GPU. I've read about some trade-offs, including a buggier desktop environment and a smaller community for support, which gives me pause. So I'm wondering:
- Am I on the right track with my choices?
- Is Pop OS really worth it for Nvidia support, or can Mint be just as effective once configured?
- Is Pop OS manageable for someone who's not very technically savvy like me?
I appreciate any advice! Thanks!

Most mainstream Linux distros are pretty good for general use these days. Fedora could also meet your needs if you want to explore more options. As for Pop OS, its Cosmic desktop environment is new and might be a bit rough, but it's functional enough for day-to-day tasks. I'd suggest trying a few out to see what fits best for you.
