I recently upgraded my old gaming PC with an RX 7600, hoping to boost my gaming experience, especially in games like Valorant. My setup includes Windows 10 Enterprise, an Intel i5 10400f processor, 16GB of RAM (2x8GB at 2666MHz), and the new graphics card. While I expected to average 300+ FPS at 1080p according to various PC build calculators, I'm only hitting about 150 FPS on average, which dips much lower on complex maps. What's puzzling is that changing graphics settings from low to high doesn't seem to change my FPS at all. I've disabled features in the AMD graphics settings but still can't figure out why my performance is all over the place. Does anyone have suggestions on troubleshooting this?

It sounds like you're facing a pretty common issue. Those FPS calculators can be misleading since they often don’t account for the specific configurations like your exact CPU. Have you tried checking if your CPU temps are okay? It could be thermal throttling. Also, ensure that your RAM's XMP profile is actually enabled. Make sure ReBAR (Resizable BAR) is enabled in the BIOS; that helped me with stuttering and low FPS before.
