I'm in the process of saving up for a new PC and I want to use my Samsung S90D TV for gaming. What's the best way to set this up? I've heard some issues can arise with Nvidia cards, but my future PC will have an AMD card. By the way, I'm mostly into single-player games, and the only multiplayer games I play are fighting games.

I've got a similar model, and the first thing you'll need is a solid HDMI cable—go for at least HDMI 2.1 if you can to be future-proof. Make sure it's long enough to reach your TV from your desk, but not so long that it causes signal loss. I've had a long cable disconnect on me before, so just be cautious with lengths!

That's good advice! I’ll need around a 15 ft cable since my setup is cramped.

  1. I just got a new pc, and I’m using a s90d as the monitor. When I play FC25, I get about 15 fps. When I run Superposition Benchmark, I get 9 fps. I haven’t tried using another monitor yet. I have a 9800x3d, 9070xt gpu, 64g ram, MSI Gaming x870 motherboard. Help?
