What Graphics Card Should I Upgrade to From a 4060?

I'm looking to upgrade my graphics card from a 4060. It was a decent choice a couple of years ago, but I'm finding that 8GB of VRAM is no longer enough for the graphics settings I want to run my games on, particularly for titles like Cyberpunk. My budget is around $800, ideally less, and I have a PRIME B660M-A AC D4 Motherboard paired with an i7 12700f processor. I'm aiming for decent performance—specifically high settings without ray tracing or medium settings with it enabled. Just for context, I have a 4K main monitor and a 1440p side monitor, so it's crucial that the new GPU can handle these resolutions well.

I'd say the RTX 3080 is a solid pick in terms of value. If you can go a bit higher, consider the 5070 or 4080.

Check out the RX 9070 or 9070 XT. The 9070 XT is priced around $700 and can deliver around 125 FPS at 1440p in Cyberpunk on high settings, which is great if you're not focusing on ray tracing. For ultra ray tracing, expect about 68 FPS. Plus, personally, I think FSR 4 looks pretty good, adding some extra frames without much loss in quality.

Do you know how it performs at 4K? I didn’t mention that in my post.
