I'm planning to purchase an RX 9060 XT for gaming at 1440p with high or ultra settings. Currently, I have an i3-10100 CPU, an H410 motherboard, and 16GB of RAM. I'm not an intense gamer, but I want a smooth experience for AAA titles. I'm worried that my i3-10100 might bottleneck the RX 9060 XT at 1440p. Can I still use my existing CPU? Given my H410 board limits upgrade options (maybe an i5-10400 or i7-10700), would upgrading just the CPU be sufficient, or should I consider building a completely new system? I'm trying to decide between keeping my current setup and just getting the GPU, upgrading to a better 10th gen CPU, or building a new PC altogether for optimal 1440p gaming. Any advice based on real-world experiences would be greatly appreciated!

For optimal performance in AAA titles, you're going to want at least a 6-core CPU. An i5 or i7 would work much better. You should also consider having 16GB of VRAM for 1440p gaming; 32GB of RAM might be beneficial too, but 16GB is fine for now. Just make sure your CPU is up to par!
I say grab the 9060 XT now and consider saving up for a 12600K and a solid B760 DDR4 motherboard. This way, you have a great GPU now, and you can upgrade your CPU later without a complete overhaul of your system.
It’s totally fine to get the 9060 XT now and deal with a CPU bottleneck; it won’t be too bad at 1440p. You’ll just need to adjust the settings in more CPU-intensive games. I wouldn’t recommend just upgrading to a better 10th gen CPU—it’s not worth it if you're planning to move to a new setup anyway later.
Your i3-10100 is definitely going to bottleneck the RX 9060 XT, especially in newer AAA games where you might experience significant stuttering. I strongly recommend that you consider building a new system altogether to properly utilize that graphics card. The H410 motherboard isn't great for higher-end CPUs either, so going for an i7 on there might lead to heating issues too.
If you're looking for a better option, consider going for an i7-10700KF; it pairs nicely with the RX 9060 XT and will give you a boost. Adding another 16GB of DDR4 RAM would also help your gaming performance immensely!

That sounds like a solid plan! Getting the GPU first lets you enjoy better graphics right away. You can always tweak the CPU later.
