Hey everyone! I bought a Corsair DDR5 Vengeance 32GB CL 40 5600 MT/s RAM kit before the shortage, and I'm wondering how it really performs. Is it as bad as some people say? How much performance am I potentially missing out on with this kit?

You could try overclocking it to 6000MHz CL36 if you're feeling adventurous. Just remember to adjust the voltage carefully to keep it stable. It's possible to squeeze more out of it!

I've seen some issues with Corsair RAM in my line of work; I've had several modules fail in industrial machines. I used to trust Corsair, but I've had much better luck with G.Skill lately, especially for demanding applications.

When it comes to RAM, the amount is often more crucial than speed—especially within the same generation like DDR5. If you're choosing between 32GB of slower RAM vs 16GB of faster RAM, go for the 32GB. Running out of RAM can really slow you down!

The impact really depends on your workload. For CPU-heavy tasks or gaming with small CPU caches, you might notice a difference. But for general use, it’s often negligible.

Honestly, if you can’t tell the difference in performance, it probably doesn’t matter much. The performance gap you're talking about is really small anyway, maybe around 5% at most.
