I have a CD that contains a video about a family member who survived the Holocaust, and I would like to digitize it and upload it to YouTube. I want to share the link with some history teachers who are interested. However, I'm not sure how to go about this. I'm dealing with a brain injury, so I would appreciate a very simple explanation or tutorial. I don't have a computer at home, but I can go to the library to use one. I would be grateful for any help!

First, you’ll need to check what’s on the CD. If it just has video files, you might be able to upload them directly to YouTube without any extra steps. Just take the CD to the library, insert it into a computer, and see what’s there!
Does your library computer have a CD drive? You can combine videos using free video editing software to create one video, or just upload each one separately from the CD. If you want the videos to be only accessible with a link, set them to 'unlisted' on YouTube after uploading.
I really appreciate your advice! I'm looking forward to trying this at the library soon!
Just treat the CD like any other removable drive. If the library computers have a CD reader, insert it and drag the video files to a folder. You can upload those files to YouTube just like any other video file. It's straightforward!
Wow, that's actually really simple! I wish I had found this out sooner. Thanks so much for clarifying!

Thanks for the tip! I’ll definitely check the CD at the library to see what's on it. I really appreciate your help!
