I've been experiencing some frustrating performance issues when gaming for the past six months. Regardless of the game I'm playing—whether it's Dying Light, Balatro, The Binding of Isaac, or Cyberpunk—I notice severe slowdowns. My FPS drops to around 5 and the resolution plummets to 480p, which is really annoying. Here's my setup: I have an RTX 4070 Super graphics card, an i7 14700KF processor, and 32GB of DDR4 3600 RAM. Can anyone suggest how to fix this issue?

It seems like your system might be struggling with the workload. Are you using cloud gaming or running anything heavy in the background? That could cause performance issues. Maybe close unnecessary apps to see if your gaming performance improves.
If you're not cloud gaming, it could just be a matter of freeing up some resources. Try shutting down Google or any other heavy apps before you start gaming to avoid those FPS drops. That might just do the trick!

Yeah, I sometimes watch long videos while gaming, and it definitely causes lag. Just closing those might help.
