Suggestions for a KDE-friendly Linux Distro after Kubuntu?

I've been using Kubuntu and really liked it, but I've faced some annoying issues like failed unzips and programs not launching unless I reboot. This led me to switch to Linux Mint, where those problems were solved, but I really miss using KDE. I'm looking for recommendations for a Linux distro based on Debian or Ubuntu that comes with KDE. It should be easy to install gaming drivers as I have an RTX 2060 and use 16 GB of RAM with an AMD Ryzen 9. I'm considering options like MX Linux, Tuxedo OS, feren OS, etc., but I'm open to other suggestions too!

MX Linux with KDE is a fantastic choice. It should have most of the drivers you'll need for gaming pre-installed, along with a few additional tools to make everything easier.

You might also want to look into some guides online. I found one that helped me a lot when I switched from Windows. You can find it [here](https://rushdownradio.net/its-time-to-break-up-with-windows-a-linux-guide-for-beginners/).

Have you thought about trying Debian with KDE Plasma? It's a solid option! Just know that you might have to manually find some drivers, which can feel a bit daunting at first.

Yeah, I was considering that but the driver hunt does make me a bit nervous.

MX Linux or PikaOS could be great fits! Go for MX if you want Debian Stable—it's super reliable. PikaOS is also a good choice if you prefer something a bit more cutting-edge with Debian Unstable, and it's optimized for newer hardware.

Thanks for that! I’ll definitely check out PikaOS.
