I just purchased an RTX 4070 Super and have a SilverStone DA1000 Gold Cybenetics Gold 1000W semi-modular ATX power supply. Someone advised me to sell my current PSU and get an ATX 3.0 unit to prevent damage to my GPU, internal components, or wiring. Is this advice necessary or urgent? Will I really risk damaging my GPU or other components if I don't make this change?
