Should I Upgrade My CPU or GPU for Overwatch with a New 360Hz Monitor?

I'm looking to build a new PC to take full advantage of my recently purchased 360Hz monitor, specifically for playing Overwatch. Currently, I get about 200 FPS on minimum settings, but since Overwatch is a CPU-intensive game, I'm wondering if I should focus on upgrading my CPU instead of my GPU, considering I already have an RX 6750 XT. Moreover, I'm aware that switching to DDR5 means I'll have to upgrade most of my system, but can I keep my existing SSD or do I need a new one?

Honestly, getting 200 FPS is pretty decent! If it were me, I might wait a bit before upgrading, mainly because hardware prices are a bit crazy right now. But if you’re itching for a new setup, I’d suggest looking into improving your audio experience instead! Great headphones or a DAC can really enhance your gaming experience without needing a full upgrade.

I totally get wanting to maximize your new monitor. Just keep in mind that if you're on a Ryzen 5 5600X, options for CPU upgrades might be limited due to the DDR4 platform. You can definitely reuse your SSD unless it’s outdated, so that could help save some cash for other upgrades.

What CPU are you using? If it's just an older model, you might want to swap it for a newer one that fits your current setup. Since Overwatch is CPU-bound, that would likely give you a performance boost. Your GPU seems fine for now, but definitely check your CPU first.
