Need Help Setting Up HDMI for Our Meeting Room

Hey everyone, I'm setting up a new office and I'm running into some trouble with the HDMI setup for our meeting room. We have two wall-mounted TVs side by side and two HDMI cables running to under the meeting table. There's one HDMI output on the table for the six people closest to the TVs and another for the six further away. Each of our laptops only has one HDMI output, and I'm trying to figure out the best way to make this setup work for a few different use cases.

1. Two people sharing their screens, with each screen displayed on one of the TVs.
2. One person sharing their screen to both TVs, effectively using them as two additional displays.
3. Similar to the second case but with a different HDMI output on the table further from the TVs.

My thought is for the first case, it might be easiest to plug directly into the floor cables, while for the other cases, I'd need to understand what's going on with the setup under the table. Any advice or suggestions, even if it's a complete rethink of the current plan, would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Consider investing in a matrix switcher – it allows you to connect multiple HDMI sources to multiple outputs flexibly. I have an Orei model that works great, and it can be controlled with a serial connection, which is helpful if you're using touchscreens to manage setups.

You might want to use two HDMI splitters behind the TVs. Essentially, you can connect the HDMI output from near the table to a splitter that feeds both TVs, and do the same for the further output. This way, you just switch the source on the TVs as needed. Plus, have you considered going wireless? You could get a wireless HDMI set – super easy to connect without messing with cables!

Have you thought about using Clickshare? It's pretty straightforward and works well in meeting environments, although I hear it can be hit or miss for certain teams. Just a heads up!

Yeah, unless you're in sales or leadership, it tends to glitch sometimes. Trust me, I speak from experience!
