Can I Merge Non-Adjacent Partitions Without Losing Data?

I'm having a bit of trouble with my storage setup on my NVMe SSD. I foolishly created a separate partition just for my Windows installation, which is currently on the C: drive (100GB), while the F: drive (390GB) holds my work data. Is there any way to merge these partitions without losing any of my data? I'd appreciate any tips on how to do this safely!

First off, definitely back up all your important files! Just in case something goes awry. You might want to check out GParted for managing your partitions. To merge C: and F:, you'll need to delete the F: partition first to create unallocated space. That way, you can extend your C: drive. It's super important to back everything up since deleting the F: partition will erase all its contents. Also, be aware that after merging, you might have to reinstall Windows if it messes with your system files—Windows tends to spread its files around if it finds extra space. Just tread carefully and make sure your data is secure!

Got it, thanks for clarifying that! Just to confirm, since I created the partitions during the Windows setup, it seems like deleting the F: partition should create unallocated space which I can then use to extend C:, right? Also, which partition exactly is the Windows Recovery one in GParted?
