How can I unlock an iPhone X that’s locked to its owner?

Hey everyone, so my cousin got this iPhone X from my aunt, but it's locked to her account. I've tried watching all the YouTube tutorials to fix it, but nothing's worked so far. I'm really hoping someone here can give me some solid advice on how to unlock it, as I'm feeling stuck and just want to help out!

Ha! One reason aunts pick iPhones is because they're tough to hack into. Your best shot is to keep trying with your aunt's account details.

Honestly, there's no way around the activation lock without the owner's email and password. If you're in this situation, the iPhone is essentially useless now. Sorry to say, but it seems like this one might be a lost cause.

To be clear, it’s not broken — it's just secured to protect the owner. If you can't get that Apple ID unlocked, your only other option is to have your aunt recover her account to get back into it.
