I recently purchased a CyberPower PC for about $1900 from Best Buy, which is supposed to come with two 16GB sticks of RAM, but I only received one 32GB stick. The specs mention it should have 64GB of RAM with dual-channel configuration, but I checked and it shows 32GB in Windows. The RAM is DDR5 T Forge RGB Delta at 6000. Today's the last day I can return it, and I'm unsure whether I should keep it as is, wait for prices to drop to buy another stick, or return it for a replacement. Any advice here would be super helpful!

Honestly, if you're showing 32GB in Windows and it's working well, it's okay to keep it. The performance impact with that setup isn't massive, especially if you're mainly gaming. But since it doesn’t match the specs advertised, I’d suggest asking them about it to see if they can do something for you, maybe even a discount.
Having 32GB is generally fine, especially for gaming. If you're playing most modern games, you probably won't need more than that. However, if it was advertised as 2x16GB and you only got one stick, you could definitely go back and ask to exchange it or at least get some sort of discount. They might be willing to help since it's not what you paid for.
Dual channel setups are typically better, but with DDR5, the performance difference isn't huge compared to DDR4. If your purchase clearly specified 16GB x2, it might be worth asking for an exchange. But hey, if they don't have it, just keeping the 32GB isn't the end of the world.
Thanks for the insight! I'll consider that.
Just contact CyberPower directly. I bought a system from them before, and when I had an issue, they handled it well, sending replacements and covering shipping. Best Buy might not be as helpful as you hope, so reaching out to the company could be your best bet.
I appreciate the tip! I’ll reach out to them.
You can choose to keep it or try for a swap. Just know that even if you get a different PC, it might still not have the dual-channel you're looking for. Plus, retailers usually won’t offer anything free. Just weigh your options before making that return.

Great idea, thank you!
