I'm looking for some advice regarding my new PC build featuring the MSI Gaming Trio 5090. I constructed my PC last night using an H9 Elite case and an MPG 1000GS PSU. The problem I'm facing is related to the 12V 2x6 cable that came with the PSU; it doesn't seem to fit well, and the panel won't close properly. This causes the GPU to shift, and I'm really cautious about damaging it. I considered bending the cable a bit more but I'm worried about the connection. I bought a 90-degree adapter, but I've read that MSI doesn't have an official adapter for this setup, which makes me hesitant. I'd rather avoid using a vertical stand if possible, and I'm even thinking about routing the cable over the GPU instead of underneath, but I'm not sure that would work any better. I'd love to hear suggestions from anyone who has managed to fit this GPU horizontally in the same case. I just want to make sure my GPU is safe, especially with all the issues around 5090s lately. Any recommendations?

I’ve had similar issues with cable management in tight cases. You might want to check out a cable management solution like this one from Thermal Grizzly. It’s designed to help keep your cables in place and should prevent any pressure on your GPU. It should definitely help with fitting everything without stressing connections too much!
No way, I haven’t come across that! If it really works as you said, it could definitely keep everything safe and sound.
