I've been charged $4.49 by Apple every month for roughly two years, but I can't find the charge in my subscriptions or purchase history. I assumed it might be related to iCloud and didn't investigate sooner, but I was recently charged $99.99 as well. Neither transaction appears to be connected to anything I recognize. How can I find out what these payments are for, and what should I do if they were made using my card without permission?

If Apple can’t find the transactions and you aren’t receiving receipts, treat them as potentially unauthorized card charges rather than assuming they’re for iCloud. Report both the recurring $4.49 payments and the $99.99 charge to your bank. Refund investigations may be limited for older transactions, so it’s still worth reporting everything, but don’t wait to secure the card.
Contact Apple Support and your card issuer. Apple may be able to identify which account made the purchases, but if the charges don’t appear under any of your Apple IDs or authorized family members, someone may be using your card details on another account. Ask the bank about blocking the card and issuing a replacement.
Check Settings > your name > Media & Purchases > View Account > Purchase History, as well as Subscriptions. A legitimate Apple charge should usually show there with its description and amount. You can also ask your bank for expanded transaction details, since the merchant information may reveal more than the basic statement does.

I’m talking with Apple Support now, and it sounds like the charges may not be connected to my account. I’ve also contacted my bank.
