Several users are reporting trouble signing in to Microsoft Teams and Outlook. Outlook is not refreshing for some people, while Teams has had issues with meetings, presence updates, and launching altogether. Other websites and services appear to be working normally, but there is no obvious public outage showing yet. Has anyone else seen similar problems, and have you found a workaround or confirmed whether this is a broader Microsoft service issue?

We’ve had reports of Teams refusing to join meetings, not updating presence, and eventually not launching. One update path also appeared to send users back to the download page before applying another update. Fully quitting Teams and reinstalling or updating it may help, although that doesn’t explain the Outlook symptoms.
Our Outlook issue is limited to the newer app and Outlook on the web; the classic desktop client still works. That suggests there may be separate client or authentication problems rather than one universal outage. Collecting the affected versions, error messages, account types, and whether the issue follows the user to another device would make the reports much easier to correlate.
The reports seem inconsistent. Some organizations have no problems at all, while others are seeing Teams fail to open or update status and Outlook behave differently depending on the client. I’d compare the new Outlook app with Classic Outlook and Outlook on the web, then check Microsoft’s service health dashboard and client logs before treating it as a confirmed outage.

That kind of detail is important. Broad reports are useful for spotting a possible incident, but without client versions and exact symptoms it’s hard to distinguish a service outage from a bad update, cached credentials, or a problem limited to a particular tenant.
