When I was younger, I created a TikTok account and uploaded a few videos. I no longer remember the email address or password, and the phone number connected to the account is unavailable because I moved to another country and gave up that number years ago.
I tried reporting the account through my current TikTok account, but TikTok said it does not violate the Community Guidelines and therefore would not remove it. I'm worried about leaving old childhood videos online and would like to know whether there's a legitimate way to recover the account or request deletion without access to the original login details.
Could a privacy or data-removal request, such as one available under GDPR or similar local laws, help? Are there any other official account-recovery or child-privacy options worth trying?

A report based only on ‘this account is old’ usually won’t result in removal, because inactivity is not necessarily a policy violation. Your strongest options are likely identity verification, a privacy or personal-data deletion request, or a child-privacy complaint if the content was uploaded while you were under the platform’s minimum age.
If the videos clearly show you as a child, explain that directly in a privacy or safety report rather than reporting the account for a general Community Guidelines violation. Platforms sometimes handle content involving minors through a separate process. Include the old username, links to the videos if you have them, approximate account-creation details, and proof of your identity when requested.
Try TikTok’s official account-recovery and support forms using every detail you still remember: old usernames, approximate dates, previous devices, locations, linked services, and any former email addresses. If you can prove ownership, support may be able to restore access or direct you to a deletion request. Avoid trying to access the account through unofficial services, since those can put your current account at risk.
Check whether your country or region gives you the right to request access to or deletion of personal data. In Europe, GDPR may provide a route for requesting account data or asking for it to be erased. These requests generally involve verifying your identity and explaining that you are the person shown in the content or the former account owner. Even if you are outside a covered jurisdiction, TikTok’s privacy request process may still be worth trying.
