I installed a new MSI MAG A850GL power supply and a Gigabyte RTX 5070 Windforce. The computer starts normally and the graphics card fans spin at idle, but I get no signal through HDMI. Before installing the card, I removed the previous graphics drivers and changed the PCIe setting in the BIOS from Auto to Gen 4. I can't currently access the BIOS because neither the graphics card nor the motherboard HDMI port displays anything. What should I check to get video output working?

Try resetting the PCIe setting to Auto, then clear the CMOS so the BIOS returns to its default display configuration. Also make sure the monitor cable is connected directly to the RTX 5070, the card is fully seated, and every required power connector is firmly attached. If the motherboard video output still shows nothing, the CPU may not have integrated graphics, so that port might never work.

I can’t see the BIOS screen at the moment, but I’ll clear the CMOS and check whether the card and its power connections are seated properly before testing again.
