I'm planning a completely new gaming PC build in Germany with a budget of €1,500–€2,000. I mainly play competitive FPS games such as Apex Legends and want to maintain roughly 240 FPS consistently. I already have a monitor and peripherals, but all of my current PC components are outdated, so I need the rest of the system. I'll be using a wired network connection and don't have any particular size, noise, appearance, or RGB requirements. What CPU, GPU, and supporting components would make the most sense for this budget?

For Apex, a Ryzen 7 7800X3D paired with 32 GB of RAM and a 1 TB SSD should be more than enough to reach the game’s 300 FPS engine limit, so it can be a better-value choice than the 9800X3D. A midrange GPU such as an RTX 5060 Ti is sufficient for Apex at high frame rates. If you also want stronger performance in more graphically demanding games, you could move up to a Radeon RX 9070 XT; it is substantially faster than the 5060 Ti, although it won’t make much difference in Apex once the CPU or game engine becomes the limit.
A 650 W power supply is adequate for the 5060 Ti, but a 9070 XT build should use a good-quality 850 W unit for additional headroom.
