I'm planning my first DIY gaming PC and want it to handle 1440p well. The parts I'm considering are a Gigabyte B650M AORUS Elite AX ICE motherboard, AMD Ryzen 5 7600X, Radeon RX 9060 XT Gaming OC 8GB, 16GB Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro SL 3600MHz memory, a Lian Li HydroShift II 360mm AIO, an ASUS A31 case, and an ASUS ROG Loki 1000W Platinum SFX-L power supply. I'm upgrading from a GTX 1060 6GB and Ryzen 5 2600, so I'd appreciate advice on compatibility, value, and whether any parts should be changed for a better 1440p experience.

The motherboard uses the AM5 platform, which requires DDR5 memory. The listed 3600MHz kit is DDR4, so it won’t work with this board. Look for a 32GB DDR5 kit, ideally around 6000MT/s with decent timings. The 1000W Platinum SFX-L power supply is also far more than this system needs; a good 650W–750W Gold unit should be plenty unless you have a specific reason to use that model.
The RX 9060 XT 8GB can run games at 1440p, but the limited VRAM may cause problems in newer, more demanding titles. If the price difference is reasonable, the 16GB version would be a better choice for longer-term 1440p gaming. You could also consider keeping an AM4 motherboard and buying a Ryzen 5 5600X if you want to reduce the platform upgrade cost, but moving to AM5 gives you a newer upgrade path.
When you ask about the memory specifications, do you mean the capacity, speed, and timings of my current RAM?
