Is Cherno’s C++ Tutorial Series Still Worth Watching?

I know LearnCpp is often recommended as one of the best ways to learn C++, but reading a lot of material at once is difficult for me. I think video lessons might work better, as long as I practice by writing small programs and projects. Is Cherno's C++ series still a good option for learning the language, or are there newer video courses that follow more current best practices?

His content can be helpful, especially for reviewing individual concepts. It’s also worth using LearnCpp alongside the videos so you have a more structured reference and can check details that may not be covered fully in a lecture.

Yes, it’s a reasonable starting point. Just make sure most of your time goes toward writing and debugging code rather than watching tutorials. Try small exercises, experiment, and look up explanations when something doesn’t make sense. That active practice matters more than choosing the perfect course.

That makes sense. I’ll use the videos as a guide and focus more on practicing.

His explanations and code reviews are generally well presented, but keep in mind that some videos focus more on understanding existing code than following a complete beginner curriculum. Use the series selectively and supplement it with hands-on projects and written documentation.
