How can I stop Windows 11 from changing my typing automatically?

My Dell Latitude 5310 running Windows 11 keeps capitalizing the first letter of sentences, inserting periods after commas, and adding a period whenever I press Space twice. It happens in apps such as Discord, YouTube, and the browser, but not in Google Docs. How can I disable these automatic typing changes?

In Windows 11, open Settings > Time & language > Typing and review the text-correction options. Try disabling automatic correction, automatic capitalization, and text suggestions for the physical keyboard. If the issue continues only in certain apps, also check their own typing settings and temporarily disable extensions such as grammar or writing assistants.

First, check exactly which apps are affected, since this may not be a system-wide Windows setting. The behavior has been noticed in Discord, YouTube, and browser pages, while Google Docs appears unaffected, so an app feature or browser extension could be responsible.
