What’s the best $1,000 gaming PC for 200 FPS at 1080p?

I'm building my first PC with a maximum budget of about $1,000 for the tower only. I already have a monitor, keyboard, mouse, and other accessories. Fortnite is my main game, and I'm aiming for roughly 200 FPS at 1080p with decent image quality. I'm willing to use performance mode or lower settings, but I'd like stable frame rates without major drops. I'll also use the system for other games and schoolwork. I'm in the US and need parts or bundles that can be shipped, since I don't have a nearby store for in-person deals. I'm unsure whether to spend over $500 on an X3D processor bundle or choose a less expensive CPU and put more money toward the graphics card. I'd prefer 32GB of memory if the budget allows. What parts would give me the best gaming performance per dollar? RGB and appearance do not matter to me.

If 32GB of RAM is more important to you, you can keep the same Ryzen 5 5600 platform and use 32GB of DDR4 memory, but the tradeoff is stepping down to an 8GB version of the graphics card. That system can still run Fortnite very well at 1080p, but the 16GB GPU configuration is the stronger overall gaming choice. You can always add another matching 16GB memory kit later if you start with 16GB, provided the motherboard and kit are compatible.

A Ryzen 5 5600 paired with a stronger 16GB graphics card is the better performance-per-dollar option here. One reasonable build uses a 5600, an A520 motherboard, 16GB of DDR4-3200, a 512GB NVMe SSD, and a Radeon RX 9060 XT 16GB, along with a 750W power supply and an inexpensive case. It comes out to roughly $1,000. The extra graphics memory and stronger GPU are more useful for gaming than spending the budget on an expensive X3D CPU bundle. Fortnite should be capable of very high frame rates at 1080p, especially with competitive or performance settings, although a guaranteed locked 200 FPS depends on the specific game settings, map, and background processes.

Thanks! So this setup should be able to reach around 200 FPS without major problems?
