I've been using Ole Zorn's Pythonista IDE for more than ten years, and I'm still impressed by how reliable and polished it is. It may not have every modern feature, but I continue to use it almost every day, including with iOS Shortcuts. It seems like a useful tool to document in the wiki. Are there any reasons it hasn't been added yet, or should another iOS option be recommended instead?

The lack of updates is the main concern. It hasn’t had a major update in roughly three years, even though the core app remains very stable and capable.
The developer appears to have started a newer project called Pythonista Lab in 2025, according to the project information on GitHub.
For people who need a more actively maintained setup, another route is to run Python on a computer at home and connect to it remotely from the iPad. That offers more flexibility, though it’s less convenient than having a self-contained app.
Pythonista is genuinely excellent for coding on the go. It helped me get through school when I needed something productive to do, and it would be a strong addition to the wiki.
Juno may be worth considering as an alternative because it supports Jupyter notebooks and continues to receive updates. The tradeoff is that it costs more.
Regardless of the update history, ten years of daily use says a lot about the quality of Pythonista’s original design. It seems like exactly the kind of practical tool a wiki should document.

That’s fair, although its long-term reliability is a big part of why I still use it so often.
