Need Help with DaVinci Resolve Installation on Mint

Hey everyone! I'm struggling to get DaVinci Resolve up and running on my freshly installed Mint (just a week old). I followed a tutorial, but while I managed to open Resolve, it crashes whenever I try to add a JPEG to the timeline, making it totally unusable. I ran a command to launch DaVinci, but I encountered an error saying 'fuse: failed to exec fusermount: No such file or directory' and 'Cannot mount AppImage, please check your FUSE setup.' I've read that with Mint >21, fuse3 should come preinstalled, so reinstalling or updating doesn't seem to help. I'm also curious if switching to Fedora would improve the installation process. Any guidance or additional info needed would be greatly appreciated!

Check out the Resolve install script on GitHub! It's supposed to make things easier. I had a few hiccups getting it running, but I ended up installing missing libraries myself and followed a different video tutorial. Now, it's all working fine for me!

I tried the script too, but I hit the same snag—Resolve launches but crashes when I add anything. I'm starting to think it might be an issue with my AMD graphics card since most guides I've seen focus on Nvidia. I might try using a container with a different distro to see if that helps.
