I'm not very experienced with PC building and had this system assembled by a professional in early 2025. I originally used a Radeon 7800 XT but recently upgraded to a Sapphire Pulse Radeon 9070 XT. The main performance-related components are a Ryzen 7 9700X, 32GB of DDR5-6000 memory, an ROG Strix B650E-I Gaming motherboard, and an 850W power supply. I'm wondering whether the rest of the system is strong enough to support the 9070 XT or if anything might limit its performance. My goal is 4K gaming at 60 FPS or higher in most major AAA games, preferably at High or Ultra settings. I'm not planning to use ray tracing and I'm fine with using upscaling when necessary.

The answer depends on the individual game. Some lighter or well-optimized games should run at native 4K, while the newest and most demanding releases may need upscaling to stay above 60 FPS. With ray tracing disabled, your target is definitely reasonable.
Nothing in the rest of the build should hold the graphics card back. Just check the memory timings—DDR5-6000 with CL36 or better would be a good target. Ray-traced games are a different story, but for standard rendering at High or Ultra settings, this is a strong long-term setup.
For most titles, native 4K at 60 FPS is realistic, especially without ray tracing. Extremely demanding games may require upscaling, but that’s fairly normal for current AAA releases. A similar 9070 XT system performs well on a 4K 60Hz display.
That combination should handle 4K gaming very well. The GPU will generally be the limiting component at that resolution, not the Ryzen 7 9700X, motherboard, or power supply. Most games should be comfortable at 60 FPS, though the heaviest new releases may need upscaling or a few settings reduced.
